Glasgow Caledonian University
FRIDAY 10th SEPTEMBER 2010
GLASGOW CALEDONIAN UNIVERSITY
Extra tickets now available- don't wait!
Imagine attending an "out of this world" event led by someone who has actually been there.
Whether you remember those days or not, you won't want to miss spending an evening in the company of one of only twelve men who ever walked on the moon.
Find out what it takes to set goals and achieve them regardless of the odds. Hear about dedication and teamwork from someone whose life depended on it.
This inspiring lecture will lift your spirits and attitude to new heights. Mr. Duke has a well deserved reputation as a wonderful ambassador for the space programme which, coupled with his sense of humour and his distinctive Texan delivery, guarantees a night to remember.

Beginning at 7.30pm, Charlie will talk about his career, his experience with NASA, his time as Capcom when Neil Armstrong made his famous first steps on the moon, as well as his own experience as Lunar Module pilot of Apollo 16, when he became the tenth man to walk on the moon. There will be a short video of his Apollo mission.
The evening includes a Question & Answer session. Microphones will be available to allow members of the audience to ask questions and find out what you always wanted to know.
At approximately 9pm we will set up a table where Charlie Duke will sit and sign autographs for those who wish to queue for a free autograph. Photographs and other souvenirs will be available to purchase in the foyer at the beginning of the evening or you can bring your own item. Or why not have your photograph taken with Charlie by our professional photographer at the beginning of the evening? The photograph will be available by the time of the signing opportunity. See below for full details.
General Duke will have to stop signing at 10pm as we must leave the building at this time. To allow as many people as possible to benefit from this opportunity, Charlie will sign one autograph per person only.
Few presentations can offer more.

MAKE SURE YOU DON'T MISS OUT ON A PERFECT PHOTOGRAPH!!
How often will you meet a man who has walked on the Moon?
You can bring your own camera but don't miss out on a perfect photograph taken by our professional photographer.
The photos will be taken before Charlie's presentation and available for you at the end of the evening in time for you to have it autographed. Your souvenir photograph is 10" x 8" and includes a folder mount. It will be taken against a green backdrop and the lunar image will be added by the photographer.
It will be similar to the image below with the Apollo 16 Lunar Module Orion in the background.
This is a very time-restricted opportunity so the number of photographs available must be strictly limited. Available on a first come-first served basis so order in advance to avoid disappointment.

In the unlikely event that the photograph is unavailable it will be posted out to you.
In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with the result you will be given a full refund.
